We are seeking an experienced, full-time Class 5 Operator to join our established team of drivers based in Milton. We would also consider an experienced Class 4 Operator who is willing and capable of progressing to a Class 5 licence. The role involves transporting construction equipment and materials throughout New Zealand. Due to the nature of the work, occasional overnight stays away from home will be required. You will be a competent operator who takes pride in your work. Please note, there may be occasions where you will be required to stay away from home overnight.
Skills You Will Need
Being an integral member of our team, you will have experience carrying a variety of loads within our construction business.
Additionally, we will be looking for the following attributes from candidates:
· A full Clean Drivers Licence with Class 5 or Class 4 trainee
· Knowledge of Code of Practice for safe loading of heavy vehicles
· A great listener who is keen to learn
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to maintain appropriate documentation
· Be physically fit
· Strong organisation skills
